Caution: Do not overheat. Heating above 165 deg. F. may cause filling leakage. HEATING TIMES MAY VARY DUE TO VARIATION IN EQUIPMENT USED. Always be careful working around steam. STEAMED: Place tamales in a steamer or in a re-heating unit with husks so that tamales do not come in direct contact with the water. Steam on high heat. Frozen: 20-30 mins. Refrigerated: 10-15 mins. MICROWAVE: Wrap tamale in a damp paper towel and place on a microwave safe plate. Frozen: Heat on High for 75 sec., flip halfway. Refrigerated: Heat on High for 60 sec., flip halfway. CONVECTION OVEN: Preheat Oven to 350 deg. F. Frozen: 15-20 mins. Refrigerated: 10-15 mins. CONVECTION OVEN with steam pan & perforated insert: Preheat Oven to 350 deg. F. Fill 4" steam pan approximately halfway with boiling water, use a 2" perforated steam tray and place tamales flat, with seam side down. Cover with lid. Frozen: 25-35 mins. Refrigerated: 20-30 mins. Use extreme caution when removing the lid and using tongs to remove the tamales from the tray. Remove paper husk prior to eating. CAUTION: Contents will be hot.
