ACCP Certified. Seal and imprint

Los Cabos Mexican Foods products are served to school children across the United States. We’d never sell anything we wouldn’t feed to our own families. That’s why we take quality and food safety so seriously. MCI/Los Cabos is vigilant about preventing quality issues before they occur. These are some the standards we follow:

Every one of our employees is a thoroughly trained member of our Quality Assurance Team which includes the following:

  • HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)
  • Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP’s)
  • Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP’s)
  • Receiving inspections
  • Metal detection
  • Environmental & product testing

As a CN-label producing company, M.C. I. Foods, Inc. is a USDA-Inspected Facility. The FSIS Inspector has an office in our plant and is on site every day to monitor our operations, review our records and verify our procedures. We are also periodically inspected by a variety of other government agencies, including but not limited to the LA County Health Department and the Food and Drug Administration.
